Beyond’s mission is to improve the health and well-being of our community, through the use of good science and rational analysis. Today, Beyond is a non-profit that offers free education and opportunities to help people to be active and healthy. We take a holistic approach to strengthening our community through simple science-based methods.

Our programs are based upon four pillars: move your body, eat nutritious foods, spend time in nature, and connect with others.

We gather hundreds of people for weekly social walks, facilitate bicycle and nutrition programs in schools, and invite all ages and abilities out into nature.

United Way of Tucson responds to our community’s needs, transforms lives and brings long-lasting systemic change to our community by focusing on the underlying issues. We fight for education, financial wellness, equality and healthy communities for every person in Tucson and Southern Arizona. Our role as community convener enables us to serve more than 250,000 people each year by forming strategic partnerships, mobilizing the best resources and being the catalyst for needed, positive change.

Our mission is to empower one life at a time to REACH, TRANSFORM and ELEVATE their community through love and building character. Our vision is to inspire youth and families to be part of lasting community contribution. We want to create the momentum for lasting sustainable change in the way we develop our children and youth to redefine success as community contribution, where schools and youth organizations become places where an individual transformation leads to stronger collective impact in their own communities
